About us
Silverwater Capital GmbH has been established in Berlin by Gregor Dimitriou in 2014.

Prior to founding Silverwater Capital, Gregor was a Senior Executive Director in the Media Investment Banking Group at JPMorgan in London and New York.
While at JPMorgan for almost twelve years, he announced M&A transactions with an aggregate volume of over US$60 billion and raised more than US$100 billion in debt and equity capital for his clients.

Selected transactions that Gregor originated and executed include:

  • Debt & equity private placement to Time Warner as part of capital raise for CME (2013/2014)
  • Merger of Equals between Publicis and Omnicom (2013, withdrawn)
  • Sale of Corporate Services by Thomson Reuters to NASDAQ OMX (2012)
  • Attempted take-private of BSkyB Broadcasting by News Corporation (2011)
  • €500mm sale of Loyalty Partner GmbH to American Express (2011)
  • $7.7bn German Media Partners’ sale of ProSiebenSat.1 to KKR/Permira (2007)
  • Red Football Ltd’s (Glazer family) acquisition of Manchester United Plc (2005)

Prior to JPMorgan, Gregor was with with Deutsche Bank and Siemens AG in Hong Kong and Shanghai, respectively.
He holds a BSc. & MSc. in Economics and International Management, respectively, from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and is trilingual (fluent in English, German, Greek).
